Under Sun Acres seeks to be a leader in new technologies and continual research. We have strong relationships and ongoing projects with the University of Windsor and Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers (OGVG) and are always looking for new opportunities. Current projects include assessing the potential to increase solar energy utilization in greenhouses, whether this be solar thermal or solar photovoltaic, and reducing energy usage behind-the-meter to minimize impacts greenhouse expansion is having on the electrical infrastructure.
