Innovation Award:

Every year, the Leamington District Chamber of Commerce, residents, employees, and business owners join to honour and celebrate business excellence. These awards publicly recognize outstanding businesses, organizations and individuals that demonstrate excellence in business and a passion for the community. They are recognized both Provincially and Federally.

This year the 29^th Annual Business Excellence Awards were held at the Leamington Roma Club on September 13, 2023. Under Sun Acres was thrilled to accept the “Innovation” award. 

Leamington Greenhouse Competition:

The Leamington Greenhouse Competition is an annual competition hosted by R.E.A.C.H. International which celebrates Essex County for being the largest greenhouse industry in North America. These competitions are judged by expert judges from OMAFRA, grocery store produce managers and chefs, to name a few. In 2022 and 2023, Under Sun Acres provided Mastronardi Produce with our delicious bell peppers for the competition. Our entries helped Mastronardi Produce win the following awards:

• 2023 – 1^St Place – Orange Bell Peppers
• 2023 – 3^rd Place – Yellow Bell Peppers
• 2022 – 2^nd Place – Yellow Bell Peppers
• 2022 – 3^rd Place – Red Bell Peppers
